Viome is a health-tech company pioneering precision nutrition and wellness solutions through advanced microbiome and RNA analysis. With a mission to empower individuals with actionable insights, Viome translates cutting-edge science into personalized health recommendations and supplements.
I joined Viome in 2020, leading a full-scale rebrand to unify the company's identity across all platforms. I established and implemented brand standards, contributed to the redesign of the website and app, and created cohesive marketing materials for email, social media, and photography. Managing a team of designers, I oversaw creative direction for over 80 marketing campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution. Brand Identity
As one of three key contributors to Viome’s rebrand, I worked collaboratively to develop a refined and cohesive new identity. With budget constraints limiting new photography and packaging, we strategically retained select brand elements—including the logo, select colors, and fonts—while introducing a more elevated, luxury-driven aesthetic.
The new identity reflects Viome’s holistic approach to health, high-end product offerings, and cutting-edge technology. We achieved this through a bold use of black and white, minimal line graphics, and strict stock photography guidelines emphasizing macro photography, natural lighting, and rich textures. The result is a sleek and versatile brand identity that transforms complex science into a clear, human-centered, and functional design.
Digital Experience
Viome’s digital experience is centered around its website and custom app. The website showcases the product line and details the company’s scientific approach, while the app serves as the primary platform for customers to receive and review their personalized health data and recommendations.
Key features—such as health scores, food recommendations, and custom supplements—are consistently highlighted across Viome’s brand. These elements are seamlessly integrated into product pages, marketing materials, and the app, ensuring a cohesive and informative user experience.
Marketing
Over my four years at Viome, we produced dozens of ad, email, and social campaigns, each requiring a careful balance between clarity and creativity. We worked extensively to distill the complexities of Viome’s products and features into concise, compelling messaging.
Each marketing channel had platform-specific needs and qualitative goals, requiring continuous adaptation of Viome’s brand identity. Navigating this challenge, I worked to uphold our photographic standards while incorporating the bright, upbeat, and playful tone necessary for digital engagement. The result—at times experimental—allowed Viome to stand out in oversaturated spaces, bringing a fresh and distinctive presence to its marketing efforts.
